Mr. Swan has been a practicing Florida lawyer since February, 1952. He has served in numerous facets of the legal profession in Dade County including Deputy Clerk, Assistant County Solicitor, and Assistant State Attorney. He served the State Attorney’s Office in the Homicide Division, Rackets & Fraud Division, and as the Grand Jury Legal Advisory for three Grand Juries. Mr. Swan has also served the State of Florida as Assistant Attorney General, he was a Former Federal Judge serving as United States Commissioner, United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. While in the military, Mr. Swan held the position of Judge Advocate for the US Air Force serving as First Lieutenant with top secret clearance.  He now practices law in Coral Gables with Swan & Sheppard Law Firm, and in Vero Beach as Of Counsel with the Law offices of Rossway Moore Taylor & Swan.
